Round 6 will feature 1'x1' works by past, present and future Kayo artists. All works range from $50-300.

In conjunction with “The PDA Show,” a group of artists — Laura Sharp Wilson, Lisa DeFrance, Lindsey Frei and Steve Creson — created a kissing booth installation in the front window of the Kayo Gallery. Opening night kissers included Sister Dottie S. Dixon and her husband Don, members of the Wasatch Roller Derby Girls, Utah Pride Center staff and board members, the Utah Cyber Sluts, the Band of Annuals, and more! This fun and zany event celebrated our community and equality for all. All money made directly benefits programs at the Utah Pride Center.

About the Curator

Camilla Taylor received a BFA in printmaking from the University of Utah, and is currently attending California State University at Long Beach pursuing an MFA in printmaking. Starting with a small exchange exhibited in the warehouse she was living in, Taylor has been organizing and curating Salt Lake City based print exchanges for years on a semi annual basis. Citizen, Apparatus, Decay, Predilection, and Inadvertently are among the exchanges in the past, now followed by Liminal, opening on March 19th at 6pm till 9pm at the Kayo Gallery in Salt Lake City. Since 2005, she has shown the print exchange at Kayo Gallery, despite having left Utah and moved to Arizona and now California. The art community in Salt Lake is such that it fosters awareness and support make it well worth it to return each year to exhibit, despite the hassles of travel and art transport.
